Lo que Popper consideraba una "posibilidad lógica", la difusión de un virus de origen natural que extendiera en la humanidad el deseo de nirvana (inacción), ya puede considerarse una "posibilidad histórica" y en ello radica la importancia de la cuestión del origen del virus del Covid-19 en un laboratorio (Wuhan y/u otros). Popper no consideró como ello podría ser utilizado para extender "médicamente" el deseo - y la acción- de control holístico que representó y representa el Covid-19. Inequívocamente menciona el objeto de dicho control: la imposición del cambio totalitario.
In "The Poverty of historicism" Popper considered the following "logical possibility" against the inevitability of human progress: a bacteria or #virus originated in nature that spreads a wish for #Nirvana within the human population. It should be considered today a "factual possibility" due to the claimed origin of Covid-19 in a lab (Wuhan and/or others).The claimed origin in a lab has not been falsified by those defending the natural spread and it seems now it will never be falsified. Popper did not however considered how such situation could be used to "medically" extend the desire- and the action- for an "holistic control" involved in the Covid-19. Without doubt he mentions the object of such control: the imposition of totalitarian change in society.
